We just spent an amazing day in the country yesterday, away from everything and everyone, family only, well minus the fact that mamarazzi came along too, which my family was pretty good sports about! But seriously the time was well needed and I'm back home today refreshed, relaxed and with many new pics to scrap!!!! You can't beat being tucked in the shade on a hot summer day with a gentle breeze, margarita in hand, watching the kids play...all the bbq you can handle, games, then in the evening the hot tub followed by roasting marshmellos in the fire pit!

Good morning, hope everyone is having a good week so far, it seems to be going by really quick here for me.  Today is a bittersweet day for me, my oldest DS is turning 11.....E-L-E-V-E-N.....Already, man how time is flying, I remember when the Dr laid that beautiful bundle of joy in my arms the minute he was born, such a special memory. I miss those days so much, but relish in the fact that he's growing up strong and smart, he's an amazing lil guy and I'm glad he's ours!



Motocross

Most of you who know me, know that I am a HUGE motocross fan! Motocross is a big part of my life, my whole family rides and 3 of my kids race and my DH just started. We are well into race season this summer and so far...knock on wood....all is going fantastic! The kids have shown vast improvement since last season and my oldest son is proving he's a force to be reckoned with on the track! We had a great race day this past weekend in Sidney, and my oldest DD got her pic taken with Ashley Bohan a female pro rider who's ranked 19th in the nation!

Who likes Pinterest.com??? I love it, I tried to avoid it when I first heard of it, but I've been using it for months now and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! If you haven't heard of it, you must check them out! May Layouts

Last montth was so crazy for me, I think I may have blogged once......eeeep! We had family from out of state at our home, birthdays, graduations, takent shows, mothers day, motocross races, volley ball games and the list goes on.....it's amazing I remembered to brush my hair half the time! But amazingly enough, I actually still managed to sqeeze in some scrappy time!! This a photo of my DD's from a few years ago, I wish they were still that sweet ti each other, maybe I should frame this page and hang it in their room as a reminder!!! Actually I rather love how this page turned out and for a pretty cheap price. The patterned papers were from an older MME line that I bought on sale last year at Micheals and believe it or not the flowers, butterflies,swirls and journal spot came from a punch pack out of the $1 aisle at Joann's, I was so impressed I wanted to grab some more but when I returned they were gone....boo. Oh yes and we must not forget the wonderful glttered title from the Maddison Avenue MME collection!
