It's Fabulous Friday Challenge Day over at

This week's challenge for you is to create a projected using rolled paper!

I decided to create a layout that took my distressing technique one step further for this project!

BABY
This layout is of my youngest daughter quite a fews back now  :/  Lol I hate that they have to grow up...I can just smell that beautiful baby scent just looking at this photo, I never want to forget those moments of holding my children when they were babies and looking into their eyes and them returning the gaze.....I know I will always have them, but as they grow iolder and no longer like to snuggle as much, it kinda breaks me up inside I miss these days and I'm affraid as my youngest grows older these days will be forever gone before I know it!!!

I used Memory Works Simple Stories collection for this layout, a must have for anyone wanting to create a vintage style baby page! It's just darling!

Like I said above the Fabulous Friday Challenge at
Frosted Designs
this week is to create a project using
rolled paper.

I decided I would tear into my paper while scissor distressing it and then gently rolling the cuts inward to create a grungy distressed look with the rolled paper

I also handmade all the flowers and using a rolling technique to create the white roses for my page!

I hope your inspired and will play along with us for your chance to win a RAK from our

THE PAPER VARIETY April 15th Challenge

Wow can you believe it's already mid April, where has the year already gone?!?!

But you know the best part about the middle of each month don't you??
Challenge Reveal Day at

This week's challenge is so super cool I can hardly wait to share it with you guys!!!

When I first saw Marcia's layout below, I feel instantly in love with it, and I was so happy when I found out about this challenge, because I knew right away I wanted to lift this beautiful work of art!
Thanks Marcia!
Marcia's Layout

She did such a beautiful job didn't she?!?!

Here is my take on her layout

GIRLY
This is a layout of my youngest daughter a few years back....seriously where has the time gone, I can still smell that fresh baby skin, and hear those beautiful grunts she used to make.....the age ole saying enjoy them it passes quicker than you think is so totally true. I know when they are this age some day's just seem like they will never end then your blessed with a cranky up all night sick baby on top of your already trying day.....and whether we admit it or not we are thinking oh gosh when will this be over is it ever going to end. I am here to say as a mother of 5 that it ends all to quickly.....my oldest is just reaching her teens and with each milestone I wonder where the time has gone and feel almost a panic as I realize it will not be long before I must send her off to college.....so my goal is to cherish and enjoy each moment the Good Lord Above has given us with our little treasures because before we know know it they will all be gone and we will only be left with our memories.

So anyway enough of my emotional babling, lol, uyour probably wondering what I did here to create my layout.

I started with Pion Design's Forget Me Not collection, which I scissor distressed before adding all of my layers.

I used crackle paint on the fence and the flowers are Petaloo, the title is stamped and cut out and I used cheese cloth behind the photo.

Thanks for taking a peek, don't forget to link up your own creation for a chance to win a RAK from our
