CUTIE PIE

I had so much fun playing with this paper, it really is very pretty!

This is a layout of my oldest daughter
As I said I used Creative Imaginations Winter Song Collection for this page.
The strip of paper is actually just backing to a paper pad that I cut down to size and misted, with Winter Song papers and a Prima flower package layered over the top.

I placed a doily under the photo and punched some purple flowers to place around the edges. I used some green stickles in the centers.

I fussy cut the bird from the Winter Song collection placing it above the flowers with pop dots behind it for some deminsion. The flowers are also made from this same collection.

more close ups of the handmade flowers!

I hope you enjoyed my llayout, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Scrapping!

Flying Unicorn Design Team

2012 Creative Team Call

Call for Creative Team Members – Term February 1 – July 31, 2012
Application deadline:  December 31, 2011
Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than January 15, 2012

Flying Unicorn, a growing forum, kit club and online store, is searching for energetic and enthusiastic designers to serve a term beginning February 1 through July, 2012.  Our creative team (CT) is divided into two teams, the kit team and the product team.

Team Descriptions:
The kit team is responsible for having the Off the Page Project and at least 3 projects (card, layout, tag, altered item) ready to post on the 1st of each month that were crafted using the current month kit.   At least 3 additional projects using the kit must be posted by the 15th of every month.

Each month the prodouct team will receive new products from the store that are being highlighted and are expected to post at least 6 projects using these products throughout the month.  There must be at least 1 project posted each week meaning that you can not meet your requirements by posting all 6 projects at once.

Other Requirements:
  • In addition to the design requirements, and in some ways, even more important, is the requirement of active and daily participation on the forum.  If you can not commit to daily posting in all the challenge threads as well as the other active threads, groups and gallery, then you will not succeed on the CT for Flying Unicorn.
  • Daily check in to the CT private group forum so that you are aware of all that is going on at Flying Unicorn.  This is our primary way of communicating and it is a must for all CT members to stay current.
  • You must be a member of our forum in order to apply.  You are encouraged to immediately become an active participant in our challenge threads and other forum topics so that we can get to know you: flying-unicorn.socialgo.com
  • Host a month long challenge at Flying Unicorn 5 out of the 6 month term.  All our challenge winners are chosen by random selection and receive a RAK provided from the Flying Unicorn store.
  • Have an active personal blog and promote Flying Unicorn on your blog by posting pictures of the monthly kit, promotions, RAKs, challenges, etc.
  • Post your creations and promote Flying Unicorn where permissible on Facebook, 2peas, scrapbook.com, etc. and willing to post on our company page and promote Flying Unicorn manufactured items as well as other items the store carries.
  • We believe strongly that an active forum needs to be a fun and exciting place with lots of  “goings on.”  To that end we like to have fun promotions and expect the CT to assist in the promotional activities.  As an example, in October we had daily games and a month long layout challenge where Mr. Hal-o-ween directed the members to add a different item to their layout each day.   There were daily RAKS and a grand prize for the month of a gift certificate to the store.  Our members loved this promotion and we have more in the works.  We need the CT to help with these promotions.
  • You must be a flexible person because Flying Unicorn is less than a year old.  As time passes we are learning that some things work and some things don’t, so the rules might change a little.
  • Because of the time commitment required, we do not accept applicants who will be serving on other store or kit club forums design teams.  If you are on the design team for a sketch blog or manufacturer, that is acceptable.
  • If you are not meeting the requirements as outlined, we will give you an opportunity to make corrections.  If corrections are not made immediately, you will be asked to step down.

We want to be a big happy family and want our CT to be the leader of the family.

For your efforts you will receive:
Generous compensation in the form of products.  The kit team will receive the monthly kit.
A badge for you blog
Bragging rights of being on the fabulous creative team at Flying Unicorn
20% discount on store purchases and free shipping
Lots of love and cyber hugs from everyone involved with Flying Unicorn.  We are a fun loving group and we want a big happy CT family.

If you are interested please send an email to info@flyingunicornllc.com and provide the following information: (We are sorry but we can’t accept international applicants other than from Canada at this time)
A photo with a short bio
A paragraph telling us why you would like to be on the CT at Flying Unicorn and what you feel your significant contributions would be.
If you have the ability to do video tutorials please let us know.
Please provide a link to your blog and your online gallery so that we can view your work

SOME WAY AWESOEM NEWS!!!!!

I am so honored and way excited to announce that I have been selected to be a

Featured Guest Designer
for

I am pleased to share with you this week's AMAZING sketch by: Nicole Nowosad

Y'all when I opened this weeks sketch in my email I was SOOOO EXCITED! It's awesome and I LOVED playing with this one!

Here's my take on the sketch:

This is layout of my beautiful daughter! She's growing so fast, becoming a young woman fastly!!

I flipped the sketch upside down for this layout and also moved the title placement around. Instead of using 3 photo's I used one and used a journal spot and swirls in place of the second and third photos!

The background paper is the Bo Bunny Welcome Home Collection, which I used the scissor method to distress and some border stitching to give it that shabby chic look....I loved the coffee stain mark on the Ect. collection so much I incorporated my own here on this layout simply by using old coffee and painting the bottom rim and stamping it on to my paper. Once it dried and gave that spread out look I inked the bottom on the coffee cup with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink in the same manor and carefully placed it over the original coffee mark to darken the mark a bit. Easy Peasy!

As some of you know I really really love doilies and include them on most of my pages, for this layout I used a crocheted doily I purchased for under $1 at my local craft store. I think paired with the lace and faux pearl flourish it gives it a very elegant look!

The teal flourish is generic I found it cheap at Joann's a while back and I loved the way it worked with this page. The journal spot is fussy cut From Scrapcake's Cozy Xmas Collection.....a must have collection by the way which can be purchased at The Flying Unicorn Store. The faux pearl flourish was created with acetate, liquid pearls and a simple temple I found online.

You simply place the template under the acetate paper and secure it with tape. Then using your liquid pearls follow the pattern.....then once it's dried fussy cut your flourish out and adhere with micro dots. Very easy and CHEAP!

I'm sorry to say I'm not a great stamper but I've been praticing, lol...the musical note paper was a left over scrap that I just stamped up with the musical note stamp....not exactly even but I love the look it gave!

Last but not least the flowers are handmade....nothing fancy
I hope you have enjoyed my layout as much as I have sharing it with you!

Lil Guy Layout Featuring Riddersholm

So I had the chance to play with some more Riddersholm paper's
This time I mixed the "I Believe" and "The Day Before" collections

Both collection are available now at The Flying Unicorn Store

LIL GUY

This is a photo of my youngest son, LOL the wierd face is due to him laughing and swinging at the park....guess I just caught the perfect shot!

The background paper is "The Day Before" The red border punched pice is from the "I Believe collection", as is the red and tan paper behind the photo. The black polka dotted paper is from Graphic 45's ABC Primer collection. I scissor distressed all the paper to grunge it up a bit. All of these collection can be found at The Flying Unicorn Store

You can also find the journal spot at Flying Unicorn, which is from Scrapcake's Cozy X,mas collection. I want to share a quick technique with you today.......This journal spot was white and I wanted it more of an off white distressed muted color so I dipped it in coffee to give it an older look. When you do this....DO NOT rub your fingers accross the papers as it crumbles off. Just shake off the excess and use a heat tool to dry it so the paper doesn't curl up.

The black swirl flourish is from o Bunny's Timepiece collection as is the gears in the top right corner. The flowers are a mixture of handmade and Prima's. I used a book page behing the photo, bacause I liked the antiqauited look it gave. The alpha's are generic and the rub on is Kaisercraft!

No close up's today sorry, I have sick kids and I'm trying to make this quick!

I hopeyou enjoyed my page, thanks for looking!

My Baby Layout Using Riddersholm Bello Pastello

I am really enjoying playing with all the riddersholm collections! This week I used Riddersholm's Bello Pastello collection, it's such a beautiful collection!

It's on sale now at The Flying Unicorn Store

Here's my layout using this yummy collection!

MY BABY

This is my youngest child, lol not such a baby anymore, but she will always remain one in my heart.

Like I said above I used Riddersholm's Bello Pastello collection, which I scissor distressed. I added a doily behing the paper, and did some stitching around to draw out some of the tand I used...not so sure I love it, lol but to late now right??? The wing is a Melissa Francis Piece also available at The Flying Unicorn Store, I used some liquid pearls and distress ink to grunge it up a bit...The flowers are Prima and the journal spot is non other than Scrapcake!

I hope you've enjoyed my layout, thanks for stopping by!

BIG HUGE REVEAL DAY HERE/ 1 DAY 3 REAVEALS

SCRAP YOUR CRAP

I am so stoked to be sharing my very first reveal with "Scrap Your Crap"
Today's challenge was to put those mist we all hoard to good use. We were asked to use at least 3 on a project. I must admit I go through spurts with my glimmer mist, I use em a while and then I tend forget they exsist....so today's challenge was perfect for me!

Family

This is photo of my Great Great Aunt on my father's side. She's my Grandmother's Aunt.

I used Pink Paislee Butterfly Garedn collection here. The blooms are a mixture of Prima's and handmade flowers, I tried to pull the the orangy peaches from this paper collection by using flowers of a slightly darker hue.The orange and brown flowers were created with Coffee filters, distress ink and a few colors of mist.

I also used glimmer mist and distress inks to alter the color of my ribbon  (tutorial coming soon)
I also misted the title, to help it better match the blooms.

The key is from Bo Bunny's Timepiece collection and the clocks were fussy cut from a Colorvok collection. The fairy was fussy cut from the Pink Paislee Butterfly collection as well.

Hope you have enjoyed and don't forget to stop by and check out the other DT member's amazing examle's!

SCRAPFIT

This week's workout over at ScrapFIT is a pretty fun one!

"Technically Inclined"

We'd like yu to create a layout about your one technical gadget that you just cannot live without! I am not a tech person at all and those of you who know me, already know that, hehe....so my choice was simple....I was going to choose my computer, because what would I do without visiting my favorite scrappy sites?!?! But opted for my phone instead....because although I love my computer I love talking on the phont to my husband much much more, lol. Plus I have internet on my phone....LOL!

Here is my take on this week's workout:

The photo is of my phone, lol I think Sara thought it was an I Phone....but it's just my Samsung Galaxy....with Droid capabilities...and I love it, but will admit I DO NOT really know how to use it...it's a pretty wasted gadget, lol but I love it anyway! So do my kids, I they have put the craziest apps on there....I didn't even know there was a game for pimple popping ewwww....of yeah it's an app on my phone....lol

My layout was pretty simple really I just added som escissor distressing, made some flourish with acetate and liquid pearls, created a few handmade blooms, and wallah! The paper collection is some really old DCWV La Creme collection I had stashed away.

I hope you have enjoyed, don't forget to stop by Scrapfit to checkout the other Fitgirls creations and to link up your own layout with Mr Linky for a chance to win the prize from our sponsors!

SCRAP YOURSELF

This weeks challenge was to create a layout using the topic "Positive Self"
I had to think about this one a bit, because if you really think about it, most of us beat ourselves up on a daily basis over stupid stuff, but rarely have nice things to say.

This was such a nice excuse to let myself off the hook for once, lol.

All in all after mulling over options I decided the thing that came to mind the most was Imperfection...who's perfect? There's those, whom think they are, lol but none of us really truely are and thats ok.

I have to remind myself of this often....

"Imperfect Is Ok"

I created this layout using Glitz Design's Vintage Blue on sale now at The Flying Unicorn Store! I paired it with Bo Bunny's Mamarazzi collection, because the colors were so similiar to this collection! I did some scissor distressing and created some handmade blooms! Pretty basic stuff!

Glimmer Mist Basics

Glimmer Mist Basics 101

What Is Glimmer Mist?

Acid Free non toxic waterbased spraydesigned to add a fine shimmer to your crafting projects, it also allows you to create your own background and patterns on your projects.

What Can I Use Glimmer Mist On?

-Dries instantly on wood
-Looks fabulous on chipboard and paper
-Sticks to metal and glass
-Pools on plastic to create a stained glass effect
-silk flowers
-Makes your stickers shimmer
-"Pops" your fabric or paper flowers
-Adds a gorgeous sheen to lace, ribbon, twill and fabrics (will wash out!)
-Glimmer Mist applications are limited only by your creativity!
True Colors
When purchasing Glimmer mist it's important to note that the mist will NOT be the color that you see in the bottle, it's true color once it's dried will be the color of the swatch sample you see on the backside of the bottle.
Does Glimmer Mist Stain?
As with any arts and crafts project, messes happen. Glimmer Mist will come out of your clothes in almost all circumstances. It may take a couple of washings so make sure you check before you put it in the dryer. Glimmer Mist on your hands comes off best with shampoo – so once you’re out of the shower it should be gone! It will also come off with several washings from soap. However it is very very hard to get off of your carpets, so please be careful when using it on or near your carpets.

Tip: Keep baby wipes handy to clean glimmer messes with. You can use the same wipe over and over to clean your messes and save the wipe when your done for a later project.

(see baby wipe blotching technique below)
How Do I store Glimmer Mist
Never store your mist lying down, they must ALWAYS remain straight up so you do not clog the sprayer with the glitter.

How Do I Unclog My Sprayer?
If your sprayer gets clogged, usually you can unclog it by rises the spray nozzle with warm water and drying it, before using canned air in the nozzle hole to clear out the sprayer of residue and glitter.

How Do I Mix My Mist?

All the glitter in your mist will settle at the bottom after it sits for a while, you will need to mix it before each use. To do this shake your bottle firmly ONLYfrom side to side, NEVER shake it up and down, this could also clog your sprayer. Just keep shaking until all your glimmer at the bottom is mixed in, you may have to oat the bottom firmly against the palm of your hand a few times to loosen the glimmer.

How To Spray
No matter what technique you use with your mist, you must always press your nozzle ALL THE WAY DOWN when spraying. No matter what you are doing, NEVER spray in a half spray this is the main reason nozzle's clog up.

Preventing Your Sprayer From Dribbling

When you spray, make sure your finger is not hanging over the front edge of the sprayer. When the Glimmer Mist disburses it will hit your finger and dribble back down onto the rim of the sprayer. The next time you shake it or tip it, it will dribble out. If your finger is pulled back the Glimmer Mist will spray out in the pattern it was intended to and it won't go back onto the cap.

Is Glimmer Mist Water Resistant?

No, Glimmer mist is water based and does not use pigment dye. Therefore, it will run if exposed to moisture. If your planning on using Glimmer mIst in a humid enviroment (bathroom decor, for example) put a protective coating over it.

Can mist Fade In The Sun?

Yes! Glimmer MIst will fad if left in the sun. YOu may only be able to resist fading if you use a UV protective coating over your project.

How Do I stop My Paper From Curling When I use The Mist?

Glimmer Mist is a water-based spray that can make lightweight mediums (like tags and paper) curl as it dries. There are a number of ways you can correct this:
-Use a heat tool on both sides of your paper
-Iron your paper
-After it’s dry, place a heavy object on it for a few minutes

How Do I Prevent My Stamped Image From Looking Blurry After I mist It?
There are two ways to use Glimmer Mist with stamped images. If you’re using archival ink, you can spray Glimmer Mist on top of your stamped image and it won’t run. If you don’t use archival ink, spray the Glimmer Mist first and stamp your image when it’s dry.

Keeping Your Work Space Clean When Using Mist

To keep your mist from getting all over the place a few papr towels under your project or a piece of posterboard works well.

Basic Glimmer Mist Techniques

You may want to start by trying your mist on cheap notebook or computer paper to get a feel for it before using it on your projects. You may also want to do this when mixing colors to first see how they will look together.

(Something very important to keep in mind and this is the number one thing that held me off from using my mist for a very long time....the mist will dry looking ALOT different from the way it looks when it's wet and pooling on your project)

1
How Do I Get An Even Spray Without The Dots Using Glimmer Mist

You want a fine mist – Push the sprayer down quickly and move it across the surface of your project like you’re applying hairspray. You want to keep your hand moving quickly and evenly across your project. Bear in mind the nature of the product is that it may take you several tries to a completely even spray pattern. Practice spray before you do your final project. If your sprayer tip is particially clogged you will get the undesired droplets.

2
How Do I Get A Thick Raindrop Like Look Using Glimmer Mist

For a thicker, raindrop application hold Glimmer Mist closer to your project while spraying. Do not move the sprayer too much, or too fast.

3
How Do I Get A Pooling Effect Using Glimmer Mist
For a pooling effect, which gives intense color, spray Glimmer Mist very closely and directly on your project.

4
How Do I Lighten My Project And Give It That Pastel Look

You can lighten your project by placing a dry paper towel over it while it's still wet and using a brayer over it in a back in forth motion to evenly soak up the excess moister.

5
How Do I Get Those Droplets All Over My Page Minus The MIst Effect

I believe there are many ways out there of doing this, but I prefer to dump a very small amount of mist into the the lid of my mist and relese my droplets here and there where desired on my project. It also leaves a nice touch when you have mist around the rim of your lid after using the droplet technique to use your lid as a stamp right onto your project. This will leave nice glimmer ring prints!

6
How Do I Get That Baby Wipe Blotching Effect Using Glimmer Mist

Above I mentioned you can use a baby wipe to clean your mist messes and save the wipe for later projects. You will notice the wipe is covered in blotches of different colored mist all over and may be dry. Thats ok, just spray it with your desired color a spritz or two and blotch away at your project. You can use all differnt colors for this. This will give your project a very unique look as all those colors will pick up on your page.

7
How Do I Mask With Glimmer MIst

You can mask with so many things, really the skies the limit. Just lay them over your project where you do not want the mist making sure it's secure and mist away. You may also use more than one color for this.

Fun Tip: Save a toilet paper roll to ase as a mist mask, who knows this may inspire you to find other things you can use to mask with!

8
How Do I Use Glimmer Mist To Paint

You can also use a paintbrush with your mist and paint whatever you like. I personaly like to paint the edges of light colored blooms with a contrasting darker color. Using the paintbrush allows for some control.

9
Can I Stamp On Top Of Glimmer Mist

Yes!!!! You definately can stamp on glimmer mist once it has dried. There is a more advanced method out there to mist over stamped images as well.

10
How Do I Get That Drip Effect Using Glimmer Mist

This is a wildly popular method at this moment. You just spray the mist closely and directly on the starting spot a few times and then turn your project on it's side to start the glimmer dripping. YOu may have to flick the back of your project gently if you did not spray enough. You need to make sure you have a scrap sheet under your project when using this method as the drips will pour down pretty fastly.

11
How Do I Use A Brayer With Glimmer Mist

I like to spray the mist directly onto my table and grab it with the brayer from there as it doesn't stain some surfaces, but I'm not sure I'd recomend this for all surfaces, so you may want to spray your mist onto a paper plate or onto non stick wax paper instead..

12
Mixing Glimmer Mist Colors Colors

Glimmer Mist is attractive when just using one color, but layering multiple colors also adds a beautiful richness to your projects.
When mixing colors I like to start with the dark color first leaving open spots here and there to fill in with other colors. Then finishing it off with a light colors top coat. Spraying heavier in some spots will give it that water color pooling effect once it's dried.

13
How Do I Speed Up The Drying Process
You can let Glimmer Mist air dry or use a heating tool to speed up the drying process.

Please note Most of this info. was found on the
Tattered Angels website.

Country Boy Layout Featuring Riddersholm / Enchanting Creation Mag. Call

Another layout to share with you featuring Riddershom's Chantilly Dawn Collection

Ok, so it's no secret that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this collection

Whats not to love??? It's yummy!
The best part is it's on sale NOW at The Flying Unicorn Store NOW!!!

Country Boy

This is a layout of my oldest son and my kiddos horse Maybel!, I LOVE this photo!

I used Riddersholm's Chantilly Dawn Collection, Prima blooms and Thickers.

I started with cutting the sqaure out of the center of the paper, this was pretty easy. I used a ruler to give me correct measurments from the edges and drew my square on the backside, then used my xacto knife to carve it out. I used some cordinating paper behine it to peek through a bit. I then did my usual scissor distress method on all of the paper edges. I did some stiching around the edes. To keep true to my style I added the lace and doily (which I cut the center out of) to frill it up a bit and draw out those creamy colors in the paper print. I also used the alphas to do this as well. The blooms are a mix of handmade and Prima. Last but not least the bow is just some generic burlap ribbon I found at Walmart!

I hope you enjoyed my layout and I'd be happy to answer any question, feel free to ask!

Again this paper collection is on sale now at The Flying Unicorn Store

Happy Scrapping!

RIDDERSHOLM Chantilly Dawn Layout to share

I have another Flying Unicorn DT layout to share with you today!!
I used Riddersholm's Chantilly Dawn Collecetion found EXCLUSIVELY in the Flying Unicorn Store in the US.

So if you love this collection, hurry in today and purchase your own stash, before it's all gone!

I must say these photo's DO NOT do the collection justice, they are really really amazing, eye catching, vibrant colors. The collection is also FANTASTIC to boy or girl pages as well as cards...there's a lil something for everybody here, which is another thing I adore. It's very versatile!

CUTE

This is a layout of my oldest daughter, and I completely ADORE this photo......I wish I photo'd that well....

As I said above I used RIDDERSHOLM'S CHANTILLY DAWN COLLECTION !!!!
I told you this paper was wonderful didn't I, I love the distressed edges around the paper....it's all done for you and gives it that vintage look! I paired the paper with darker plum and yellow, bit keep in mind I have seen this particular paper used in many ways with a few different color schemes....like I said very versatile!!

The butterfly in the top left corner was fussy cut from one of the waonderful tags offered in this collection....I thought it married well with the color scheme I choose. I purchased the alphas last Spring at Hobby Lobby and forgot about them......They are actually raw wood and I just used my Sunflower glimmer mist on them to achieve the yellow I needed. I also snuck some Scrapcake in here....you see all those wonderful lil doilies....yep those are from Scrapcake's Cozy Xmas collection...I just added some liquid pearls to it!

You can see some of my stitched circle here as well as some more Scrapcake doilies! I cut the center out of one to use as a photo frame for the mini photo. The butterfly is also from the Riddersholm tag collection! I made the flowers from coffee filters and glimmer mist and the daisy with marvey uchida punches. I created the faux bling with acetate and liquid pearls!

You may notice some of the distressing details here, as always I used the scissor method. You may also notice the mini lace blooms I made....y'all these took like minutes and are so easy a baby could make em!
Above the flower cluster I layered some more Scrapcake doilies for dimension, added the liquid pearls to the edges and topped it off with a yellow pearl!

Last but not least here's a close up of the paper strips....the plum colored one is from the Riddersholm collection, and super yummy!

Well thats about it folks, I hope you have enjoyed my layout and if you love the paper head on over to The Flying Unicorn Store today and purchase your own stash!!!

Happy Scrapping!!

A Layout To Share!

I have a layout to share with you today featuring some YUMMY Glitz Design Vintage Blue Collection Found in the Flying Unicorn Store!

I am having so much fun Designing for Flying Unicorn, Alda is just the most sweetest generous person. The community at Flying Unicorn is like none I've ever been a part of, if you've never been over there you should go check it out, there is so much going on!

Some of you may know that I groan at the prospect of creating masculine pages....I tried for so long to not frill them up and in doing that I felt I was fighting my natural style....which is to grab all that pretty vintage shabby chic looking goodies! I love lace and flowers and doilies and I have made peace with that....and I think so have the men in my live hee hee because I no longer hear the groans when they spot all the girlie goodies on their pages.

So my message to you today...something that took me far to long to learn I might add, is to stay true to you and the things you like and feel comfortable using. I am not saying do not try things out of your box, it's always good to learn new things.....I learn daily. I am saying listen to yourself, learn your own style and don't fight it. Once you are able to do this your work will just get so much better!

I came accross a layout I was leaving some love for the other day and the sweet lady made the comment that she wouild like to be able to use pretty things and flowers but she ad all boys....my message to her was:
There is no right or wrong in scrapping....it's about using our creative abilities. So do not put limits on your creativity!

So without further adieu I wanna share my take on a masculine layout with you featuring some Glitz Design papers!

Let me just start by saying the color combo's in this collection are to die for It's Glitz Design's Vintage Blue collection and a must have for your scrap stash!!! So rich and masculine!

This is a layout of my oldest son, he's such a sweet guy!
I distressed the edges of all the papers using the scissor method, and paired that with the lace doily and lac trim to give it that vintage shabby chic look.

Here's a close up of my blooms which I made with TH distress ink, glimmer mist and coffee filters and the daisey is made from marvey uchida punces. I added some babies breath to top them off and tie them together.....to me the cluster almost looks like a pinecone, lol.

I misted and crinkled the ribbon for the vintage look....tutorial coming soon.

The tag is from the RIDDERSHOLM Chantilly Dawn Collection found in the flying Unicorn Store

Here's a close up of the paper layers I used, The bingo looking piece is some clip art I printed a long time ago that I no longer have access to unfortunaely....I wish I could print another. I also used another piece of coordinating Glitz papers and a package piece left over from some Prima blooms. Who ever said throw away your trash! Haha I make sure I can't use it first!

I absolutely adore the way the crochet doily worked with this collection, it all just seemed to melt together, and as I mentioned above...girly or not it's my sytle and it works for me!

You may also notice the circle stiching I created. I just used a handmade template I keep and traced it, then used a Bazzil piercing tool around it.....easy peasy!!!!

The teal sticker bloom is Prima and I used a clock I fussy cut from a Colorbok collection in the center!

Here's a close up of the lace trim, the border punching (Martha Stewart Lattice), and the Prima border Sticker details. I also slipped in a Prima journal spot slightly under the photo!

I hope you have enjoyed my page, thanks for visiting my blog, I really adore each and every comment!
