Once Upon A sketch Layout

Check out this amazingly gorgeous sketch from Once Upon A sketch!
Beautiful isn't it!
I love the oportunities it allows for!
Check out the challenge details here.

Here is my take on this wonderful sketch!

I love the romantic feel this layout has......the colors and textures almost remind me of lingerie or something! The photo is from this last summer of my youngest daughter. I used various punches and lace to create the layers and fabric for the lovely flowers. I will post deatils below in my close ups.

Ok if you do not have a Bazzil stitching template set, don't walk....RUN out and go buy some! They are amazing to play ith and give your pages the most lovely look! Seriously, it looks like alot of work, but really it's not...believe patience is not my virtue!

As I said above the blooms are actually fabric, which if you have read my blog in the past you know I am a huge fan of fussy cutting florals from fabric pieces and using them on my layouts! It gives a one of a kind unique look, and honestly I get more for my money! Also very easy to do, but requires minimal patience...not much but a little!

I purchased a cheapie acrylic set of alpha stamps....I am still learning to stamp so my title is not perfect, but I'm improving! The bird is K&CO!

Here you can see more fabric floral close ups and my bow! I wanted to try something different with my ribbon rather than let the ends hang and this is what I came up with! Very romantic looking! The heart in the center is from a cheapie pack of buttons I purchased at Walmart and just used wire cutters to chip off the loop hole on the backside of it! You may also notice the rub on I placed directly onto the photo, it says "The Greatest Gift" I do believe each and everyone of my children are a gift to my DH and I and we cherish them on a daily basis!

Well that about sums my layout up, just a quickie I wanted to share, if you have any questions feels free to ask and thanks for taking a peek, I ejoy your comments!
