Scrapcake Cozy Xmas Collection

I have a layout and 2 cards to share with you today, using the
BEAUTIFUL
Scrapcake Cozy Xmas Collection

A must have collection for your scrapbook stash

My creations with this beautiful collection

Here's a card I've created using the Scrapcake Cozy Xmas collection, I wanted to showcase it's versatility....even though it's a Christmas collection, it's extremely flexable and versatile. This card doesn't look like a holiday card at all.

I used one of the 7x12 paper pieces from this collection to create this card. I folded it leaving the bottom layer peeking through just a bit by not folding it in half all the way. I layered some patterned paper on the top edge to give more deminsion and design.I scissor distressed all the edges of everything to give it a shabby chic grunge look. I fussy cut the doily prints from this collection and layered them, hanging over the cards edge. I used dots of liquid pearls at the edges of the doilies to give them an even more femenine look. To top it off I also included a bow.

This card showcases again the versatility of this collection. You see how easily it's used as a holiday card....Again I used a 7x12 paper piece form this collection and layered coordinating papers also from the collection after scissor distressing each piece. I added a border strip across the center and layered 2 different lace pieces behind it. Again I layered some doilies I fussy cut from this collection along with a gingerbread man and some christmas ornements to top it off. I also again used the liquid pearls to enhance the edges of the doilies as well as embellish the gingerbread man. The sentiment is actually just a generic rub on I found in my stash.

Last but not least I have a layout I created also using the Scrapcake Cozy Xmas collection. This is a photo of my kiddos a few years back waiting patiently to decorate the tChtristmas tree, while my Husband and I untangled and tested the lights (boring, lol) You can see the look of excitement on their faces, lol.

I fussy the chevron paper shape out of a 12x12 paper and added a delicate red lace behind it. I fussy cut more doily shapes and again layered them under and over the photo, some featuring some pop dots for dimension. I Alao fussy cut the ornements and used pop dots beneath them as well. Again I used liquid pearls around the edges of the doilies and pearls in the centers. I toped the layout off with a big bow and larger cordinating pearl.

I hope you have enjoyed my creations and are inspired to grab your stash of this collection to create your own beautiful projects!

Happy Scrapping!
