Reveal Day SKETCHABILITIES / ScrapFIT / CREATIVE SOUP

 Sketchabilities Reveal

I am loving working with Karen and the amazingly talented DT members!

This weeks sketch is yet another that I had so much fun playing with! The sketch allows for multiple photo's which I've been digging this summer, it really has allowed me to get outta my scrap slump where my pages were all wanting to look the same, lol!

Check out the sketch:

Here's my take on this fabulous sketch:

The background paper is from an older My Minds Eye paper pad, which I have been trying to use up lately, lol. The color combo's seem to have trended in most of my layouts this summer! Check out my handsome DH...watta cutie!

I purchased the bling from Etsy

The love birds are from We Are Memory Keepers 'Be My Valentine Collection'

The sticker is from the same collection as the 'love birds' The flowers are fussy cut from a floral printed piece of fabric.

The layers of paper are just random from my scrap stash.

Be sure you stop by Sketchabilities to check out the other DT's examples!
Use the linky tools to upload your take of this fabulous sketch!!!

ScrapFIT Reveal

Working with Sara and the rest of the extremely talented FIT GIRLS is such a pleasure, I am just having so much fun!!!

This weeks workout is sure to get your creative juices flowing, I have to admit it was definitely
a challenge for me, it made me think outside of the box a little bit! View challenge details here!

Check out my take on this weeks challenge:

This is a photo of my oldest son, my how he's growing....this photo is from almost exactly a year ago! My take on this workout may be a little different from the other DT's, lol since we are not city people...AT ALL, lol it was obvious what I wanted to do with this workout challenge! The title "La Ville" meaning "The City" inspired my own title and the book title placement inspired the arrangement of my sub title.

The background paper in from Pink Paisley's Butterfly Garden collection.

The flowers are actually just silk flowers and I added a raw wood button to give em a lil bit of a country feel.

The Howdy sticker is from Carolee's Creations 'Old West' collection, the paper behind it is actually grunge board.

The layers of paper are just odds and ends from my scrap stash and the star border is from the same 'Old West' collection as the Howdy sticker above.

I'm afraid I do not remember the brand of the boot sticker sorry about that, but the round journal piece behind it is from the Bo Bunny 'Time Piece' collection.

Be sure and stop by ScrapFIT to check out the workout challenge and the samples from the rest of our
FIT GIRLS!
Don't forget to link up your layout with Mr Linky for your chance to win!

I had a blast, I mean an absolute blast creating my layout for this week's Mojo Monday Challenge!
Check out more details here!!!

Here is my take on this weeks challenge

This is a photo of my youngest daughter, I love the way this layout just pops off the page!

This is a close up of the sun and clouds I created uing my Create A Critter Cricut cartridge. I used my cats eye chalks to ink the edges a bit to help them pop! I fussy cut the bird from an older DCWV paper collection and used my white gel pen to draw the little trail behind it.

My thickers just seemed to pop off the page the contast with the white and bright colors and wood look all worked well together! The paper stripes came from various collections such as DCWV and Sassafrass Lass!

Here I used some Prima flowers with a brad in the centers, while sticking to the color palette that was trending on my page! The chevron came from a DCWV punch pack, you'll see I used my gel pen again for my journaling which reads: I LOVE THE FRESH LOOK YOUR SUN KISSED CHEEKS GIVE YOU AFTER PLAYING OUTSIDE 6-22-11.

I used a sketch from Pagemaps

I hope you all enjoyed my page's as much as I did making them, if so leave me a comment, I love hearing what you all have to say!
