Sassy LIl' Sketches Reveal Day

Today is the very first reveal day for Sassy Lil' Sketches new design team!! I am so honored and excited to be a part of this new team! \

I fell in love with this sketch from the moment I saw it, it's super amazing and alot of fun to work with! I love the option it gives you to use multi photos and patterned paper squares.....there's so much you can do with this sketch!

Here's my take on this weeks sketch

I started with a Martha Stewart gingham background paper and used dark pink glimmer mist in the yop corner and lower left side to give it a pop! The alphas were cut from the Cursive 101 Cricut Cartridge. If you look closely you can see that I used a pair of scissors to distress the background paper, the squares, photos and banners. You can see this better in the close up's below.

You should be able to see the distressing more clearly in this photo. I also used a white and pink gel pen to draw a double frame around each photo and square to enhance it's appearance and make it pop. I also added a little bling! The flowers are fussy cut from some scrap fabric that I've had forever!

I handcut the banner and used a strand of thin yarn for the banner string. I added bows in the top corners of the banner using the same yarn and some bling in the center. I used the same pink gel pen I did in the patterned paper below here on the banner to doodle a little faux stitch!

I hope you are inspired and I cannot wait to see your take on this sketch! Don't forget to upload your page on Sassy Lil' Sketches for a chance to win a prize from one of the following sponsors:
