Bee Happy Layout

I have another fun layout I wanna share with you today. It's nothing fancy I just had a spare 45 minutes while my youngest daughter decided she needed to sleep in.....believe me she's quite good at that....lol.

My inspiration for this layout came from this photo I took this past summer at the local zoo! Beeeeautiful isn't it!

Bet you can't guess who the photo is.....if you follow my work you know by now that my oldest daughter has a passion for photography....no not taking pictures or looking at beautiful photos....nope she likes the pictures to be taken of her, lol.

I believe the background paper is October Afternoon and I will be heading to my LSS for some more for sure...so many possibilities! You can see I  distressed the edges of this layout using the scissor method, I just love the look this creates! I used a template and traced a circle on my paper so I would get an even circle before I stitched.  See details and close ups below.

I used a K&CO bee and just used my black pen to create the little trail behind it, you can also see a portion of the title.....I stamped it and cut them out.....I'm not sharing close up of these...unfortunately I'm not the best stamped and the close ups arent that great, lol.....but I'm practicing....hope to get better real soon!

Here you can see the beautiful layers of lace and border punches. I used an EK Sucess punch here by the way. The delicate green lace is just a scarp I found in a bag of goodies I purchased from the thrift store. The flowers are all hand punched using a few sizes of the Marvy Uchida daisey punch.

More border punches, lace and flowers. I also added a bow using generic ribbon and a yummy pearl bling center piece.

Here you can see a close up of the papers I used for layering, I also distressed these so thay would match the background paper.

I hope you enjoyed my layout and I love your comments!
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!
